Yes, generally completion of a workshop provides you a certificate. Each workshop will have different requirements to acquire the certificate (some might require tests or demonstration of learned skill).

That depends on the workshop, and will be detailed in the workshop page. Workshops can be one day only, or take place over a certain number of days. They will never exceed a week in length.
